FENWAY OR BUST!

I think this says it all?

SOX WIN!

My view as the Sox came back, to win against the Yankees

What a great night.

The historic press box at Fenway.

As the Bostonians say the "Green Monstah"!

Our view from standing room, you were in the rafters and it was great!

My first glimpse of Fenway when we entered, at this point we were still amazed we were in!

A picture of the back of the stadium from afar.

The main street outside Fenway, later in the day it would become one big tailgate party.

The players entrance, where we saw "Big Papi" drive up in his canary yellow Lambo!

The honorary Mr. Ted Williams

The first thing we saw when we were pulling into Boston, so we knew Fenway was close.

$10 shades, bought on the way in to Boston, but they didn't return? Don't mess with us!

A little bit of a rough night in the Yale District the night before, nothing a Pop tart can't fix.

Ready or not here we come!

Boston Sights

A stroll through many parks within the city, the people were out enjoying the great weather.

A fountain in the same park

A shopping district with alot of people as well as street performers, it was so nice!

The bay area, where alot of boats were coming in.

A great view of the city of Boston from the bay area

Sitting at the dock of the bay.

Walking around the state house. Do you think they knew so many years ago, that the house would now be used as a coffee shop as well as a performance area for street breakdancers? Blew my mind!

A close up of the Boston Common Sign, I was freaking out with the history of this building.

A shot of the Boston Common, one of many stops along the Paul Revere trail!

NORM! Had lunch here, and it was great, but besides the famous entrance way down the stairs, it looks nothing like the t.v. show inside, but a very nostalgic feel! CHEERS!

The pizza joint turned into quite a meeting place, Jonathan Sala everyone!

Diet Schmiet! I had to give in!

If you look closely you will be able to tell which guys are from Wisconsin.. I think they may be playing "Big Buck Hunter" God we are hopeless.

HOME AT LAST!!

I am home, and it's great! I just opened the windows and it's a beautiful day here in Milwaukee, adding to the morning is Mr. Bob Marley himself, so really it's a good day so far!

I figured I would give you a bit of an introduction into the pictures you are going to be viewing on my blog. As you know, I was in Connecticut for work for about two weeks. When I wasn't working I had the chance to get out and go see a few things? It was really a great area we were in.

So first off you have the Yale District. Yale University is located in downtown New Haven, roughly twenty minutes from where I was staying. New Haven is relatively small, but has a great downtown square around the campus along with much night life-not really sure how they get any studying done there? So needless to say we hit the Yale scene a few different nights, a few frequent bars, one actually called "BAR" as well as possibly one of the best $2 a slice pizza joints EVER!

Continuing you will be seeing some wonderful sights of Boston, Mass. Oh yeah and a Baseball Park they call "FENWAY"! Yeah that's right, not only was I outside of it, but also caught the first game of the first series of the year with a team by the name of the New York Yankees. GO SOX! Fenway was amazing, you could smell the tradition and the legendary green that it is surrounded in screams nostalgic. The bars around Fenway were filled with Bostonians rooting on their Sox, and everyone seemed to love baseball, it was truly magical! We scalped three tickets at Fenway-two standing room and one box seat just off first base. The three of us switched off innings, and I had the pleasure of sitting in our box seat the last three innings, when the Sox came back from a 6-2 deficit to win the game in the ninth! I have seen alot of games and alot of comebacks, but this was different, you really felt part of something! So needless to say the celebration started, as well as my great rendition of "Sweet Caroline"! Saturday we toured Boston, and it was a beautiful day! Saw some great history, along with a bloody mary and a Reuben at Cheers, and before you know it we were back at Fenway for game 2, GO SOX!

So, that's it really? There is too many pictures to post, but I will try to get most of them out in groups. Of course there will be some various Miscellaneous pics, but it truly was a great trip both work and leisure, and I have been eager to share it with you. Feel free to post any comments-until later-DUDA.

Well first off let me apologize for my absence. I have been in Connecticut for work and have not had many chances for posting anything new. So, WOW what a trip! I think I have given the saying "work hard play hard" a new meaning. Our off nights have been fun discovering new sites as well as new people. I took a weekend trip to BOSTON as well as my first Fenway game. HOLY COW! Anyways sorry to be brief but I have so many pictures to share, which is my first priority when I get home this weekend. So take care, and stay tuned.

Opening Day-Before,During, and After..

Hey Matt, do you know which way the stadium is? That enormous bag of peanuts saved us at gametime-good thinkin!

Matt, Todd and I at Scotty's Tailgate

Marc North Everybody!

Scotty, Myself, and Katarski before the game, Nice Face!

Mixing in with the locals at Kellys Bleachers after the game.
Nate Osika just coming out of Nowhere!

Go Brewers!

Opening Day Anyone?

It was my first opening day at Miller Park, and I have to say it was pretty Crazy! First off the weather was great, although it was a little cloudy in the morning, the clouds broke, and it was 65 and clear skies for the first pitch, although the roof was closed. It was a pretty uneventful day for the most part, at least for me, just good company and good baseball. Even though I will never lose faith in my Cubbies, the Brewers, the fans, and the city is hard not to love. We started the tailgate shortly before 9a.m. that morning. Many of my friends were in attendance, and holding various tailgates around the stadium, so of course I had to stop at them all! In closing the Brewers pulled off a great home opener against the Dodgers (7-1). Thanks Everyone for showing me a most excellent time, and is along as the Cubs aren't playing-GO BREW! Baseball is here!

The Wheels on the Bus go Round and Round

Wegs with the Birthday Girl

Feathers Birthday Pub Crawl Extravaganza! Let me just start off by saying if you ever need a bit of a pick me up, just get on a bus because you will never no what you'll find?

What a night, and to think I was planning on staying in. "So I guess we're getting on the bus" that was all it took for Wegs and I-minutes later I am assisting in the lifting of Female Keg stands, not a bad gig? I know it's hard to believe, but I was just an innocent bystander throughout the night. Although between Wegs attire, a money-lip sync rendition of "My Girl", the stolen traveling glass, me wanting to beat up anyone who was mean to princess Feather, and a cab ride that just wouldn't end as well as the fare? It was a great night! Happy Birthday Feather, Can't wait until our next adventure!
